fairy ring
I explore the relationship between fashion and fairies to create an imaginary and poetic world of women. In folklore, a fairy ring is a naturally occurring circle of mushrooms where it was believed that fairies or supernatural beings met. They embody power, mystery, and sisterhood. Fairies have long been a symbol of enchantment and defiance, existing between worlds as ethereal beings. In my work, femininity’s social codes—pastel tones, flowing dresses, delicate florals—are symbols of strength and sisterhood. Through photography, I capture this dreamlike universe to create an otherworldly atmosphere. Each image shows the union of women together, which is stronger.
