This photographic series of self-portraits is my most personal work that I made during the lockdown. I began it after reading 4.48 Psychosis by Sarah Kane, whose raw, poetic language filled with emotional intensity and vulnerability, inspired me to explore the hidden layers of identity. The cathartic nature of her writing led me to create images that express these complex emotions. By blending myself with the environment, I aimed to dissolve into the image, creating a surreal world. Without faces, the body becomes universal, I invite viewers to reflect on what lies behind the mask—what we conceal from others and ourselves.
